“At the core of my work is a philosophical, conceptual and spiritual approach. This is derived from my study of and fascination with Alchemical Design and Plato’s theories on Sacred Geometry. These significant symbolic shapes can be seen across all cultures and have created a universal appeal to the human eye. The symbiosis of this theory, alongside my instinctive response to colour and devotion to form, create unique, vibrant and arresting outcomes to every piece I create.” This limited collection of statement rings inspired by Plato’s Sacred x pays homage to some of the most eloquent shape makers of the early and late 20th Century – Constantin Brancusi, Barbra Hepworth, Jean Arp, Donald Judd, Anish Kapoor, Alexander Calder. Striking, stylish and deeply tactile, each piece is made as a bespoke commission for the wearer in either solid silver plated with gold or solid gold, designed to bring lasting joy. The ring can be set with significant stones to make it truly unique – birthstones, favourite gems or stones from an old or inherited piece of jewellery that is loved but unworn.
