Installed as a part of London Design Festival 2018, Byplace is a work of sculptural architecture, designed to question the definition of space. The structure itself is an experiment in density and perspective. The two tones of the piece exaggerate or understate the structure’s mass depending on the viewers perspective. Built by Aldworth James & Bond the piece incorporates a ‘sheet-dot’ system which was developed for their specific manufacturing capabilities.
